
This deposit is going into your personal tech account. To message inmates, you will need to deposit funds onto your tech account. You can place funds onto your tech account via the CorrectPay app or on the CorrectPay website by selecting Fund My Tech Account. Funds placed onto Tech Accounts cannot exceed $300.00 per deposit. Please note, funds deposited into the tech account will NOT BE REFUNDED for any reason. These funds cannot be transferred from your Tech Account to an inmates commissary account. Inmates can message you using their commissary account to send the message, or they can message you collect, and you can choose whether or not to fund the message using your Tech Account. If you would like to deposit funds to the inmate so that they can send messages, you can deposit money into their commissary account as well.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Please note, funds in the tech account are non-refundable. Funds cannot be transferred from your Tech Account to an inmates commissary account. If the inmate you communicate with is released from jail, the funds will not be refunded. All incoming and outgoing messages are subject to review, censorship, or rejection by the correctional facility. Should service be denied for disciplinary reasons, technical difficulties, or any other reason, no refund will be given. You agree to have the messaging fee deducted from your account balance when each message is sent. Electronic messaging is NOT CONFIDENTIAL.
